As a surgeon, one must spend a great deal of time developing their skills, but also continuing to grow even once their practice has begun. Mark Dekutoski has spent a great deal of time developing his skills from his education to his time in residency to his early career. He continues to expand his knowledge in the positions he holds to this day in order to remain sharp and ready for all the challenges that come with practicing medicine.
Mark Dekutoski has served as Chairman of the Mayo Clinic Medical School Orthopedic curriculum and Chair of the Scoliosis Research Society and AOSpine North America Educational committees. These positions have allowed him to help with decision making processes in his field as well as lending his time to such causes is of great fulfillment to him. He is able to learn about not only the practice of medicine but also about interpersonal relations and further spread the education of the next generation of surgeons. In addition to his practice, Mark Dekutoski has also presented over 300 lectures at Continuing Medical Education events in order to continue to help spread the innovation of the field for the betterment of the other doctors and patients. He is passionate about helping all. This means that he makes a special effort not just to help his patients, but also to help future and current surgeons and doctors alike. Comments are closed.
